Is it possible to tweak the demo playback (and different angles?) for demo?
Wouldn't be a waste of effort, a lot of moviemakers on demo would appreciate this, I would LOVE such a tool on demo but except for shifty perhaps, no one has the programming skills to do such a thing.

It's different in demo since you'll have to hook syscalls. I assume you can use the same UI code though. Maybe if I'm bored some time I'll check it out, but don't count on it. If you can find someone else, let me know, I'm willing to help out.

I've made a little playback tool for SoF2 Demo, just to prove that it's possible. Download rpm2k3.com/2k3_demo.zip. Features:

- Left mouse toggles between 1st, float and 3rd
- When in floating mode, use arrow keys to move. Modify cvars 2k3_demoSensitivity and 2k3_demoFloatSpeed if necessary.
- Use mouse scroll to adjust playback speed, see console for current speed. Right mouse resets speed to 100%.
- Middle mouse toggles wallhack.

well yeah, for now i am the only one, but i was onto max since the development started saying i would make a frag movie and i began early when there was a beta available for me, more might join me once they realize the features of this mod

as for the demo version i dont know, max is unpredictable in his decisions , hopefully he helps you out with a basic version, the stuff you need the most, but tbh if you want more you should at least give him SOMETHING in return, demo is not even in his concerns i guess, 2k3 isn't selling any servers there etc

i wouldn't pay 50$ individually so maybe there's another way you can solve it, maybe not w8 and see what he says!

nowadays it's true.

this game is over 10 years old now and is still alive, because the demobase community collected old school sof2 players back together.

I was a full player at first when it was new game and super alive, then upgraded to gold, now I'm back to demo... WHAT KIND OF SORCERY IS THIS!
