We COULD really use a mod like RPM in sof2 demo tbh, could you make a small tutorial on how to make something similar? Or could you make a RPM mod for demo? I'm asking you because you've made the mod and I assume it isn't so much work for you since the only coder we have in demo atm is rocket and I doubt he knows how to make something like RPM mod

Oh yeah weird that I didn't came up with him.. anyways maybe max and shifty could work together to create a small RPM mod for demo? I just can't imagine that it would be much work for 2 experienced guys to create something like that.. Anyways I could be completly wrong here just posting some suggestions.

I'm also willing to help but my knowledge about mods is really basic and I haven't tried to make a mod since 2007 I think (insanemod)

How long did it take to code rickroll into sof btw? LOL

That's like 10 lines of code, but I had to convert it to .roq, which took quite long

Well these demo features took me 2 days to add, so it isn't that much work. And I already have some menu classes (listbox, button, text). But it would be nice to get something in return. It works the same way as aimbots like GNA, you inject a DLL and intercept syscalls. Download the source code of a Q3 engine aimbot and you'll understand.

Another teaser, out of compassion for Demo players:



- You can now spectate other players. The spectate list is updated constantly. You can only spectate players in 3rd person.
- Cvar options added to the menu.
- cg_demoSensitivity bug fixed, you can use a float now instead of an integer (or use the menu).
- Console added, so that server messages appear on the screen.
- Cg_draw2D is no longer used when floating, instead most drawing is omitted, so that chat messages and console messages are still shown.
- Key 's' makes a screenshot

If you can spectate other players, it must be possible somehow to spectate them in 1st person as well or?

It uses FairPlay to start the game.

Features:
- All aforementioned playback features
- Smileys, type \smileys for the list
- Chat sounds, type \sounds for the list
- Names are drawn instead of beacons. Use 2k3_friendAlpha and 2k3_friendSize to adjust. Use 2k3_drawFriend to disable.
- No rickroll

If it honestly has no rick roll or anything, this would be amamazing news for demo with Facing Worlds 3 coming to an end, but max.. I don't really trust you anymore LOL


Good work either way, you've done what no one has been able to do on demo in 10 years.

I see, I've found the error. I'll fix it and test on an old Windows XP PC.

It worked on my Windows 7 PC though.
