what baffles me most about religions is that there are so many of them and each one of them has believers that are 100% sure they are following the right thing, it simply doesn't make sense for me. someone other than a muslim is sure hes doing right by his god just as much as you believe in the teachings of quran and both sides have 'evidence' that that their shit is THE shit, when in reality a lot of religion is up to personal interpretation.
the only religion that makes sense to me is buddhism but id consider it more of a lifestyle or a philosophy to live by than a religion.
then theres people converting from one religion to another. patrick brought up that there are christians who went to be muslims but obviously the same applies the other way around. does not that make you think about the idea of religion at all? the simple fact that someone who might have been muslim his whole life and had as much or even more faith in the teachings of quran than you for some reason converted because he found other religion more believeable? are they suddenly wrong even though they used to follow islam? i would like your
opinion on that, not something you've been taught.
