It needs to start getting sold in steam for 60 euro's, and then discount it to 10 euro or something during holidays & it will be massively bought & you can cash for the revival of a game

Since it's gone to page9 i'd like to chip in. Sadly I have to agree with Azzy and Forgy.

Sof2 is dated, and it's like that corny song that you love because you grew up listening to it but nobody else cares about.

it's unappealing to most people and they will never consider playing it when they can play cs cod bf etc. Besides move on

guys. Your idea of making sof2 active has insanely small chance of success, and assuming you would have good programmers,

money , promotion and you would succeed, it would NOT be worth it. Not be worth it for you, you can do much better

and achieve more worthwhile goals in games that still have activity, or in this thing they call "real". I appreciate what you are trying to do but it's too late now. Don't become Black Mambas of sof2 demo, only pain and suffering you will find.

 

ps. we should have moved the remainder of the scene to full when there was time...

Nah cuz full is stupid retarded, not only the majority of players (1fx doing hacks and what not, pushing out their own anti cheats and servers, taking down rpm with constant ddossing..) but most of all turning it into a thirdperson game.

Maybe 3rd is now all thats left and kept the game alive in your mind but in my opinion it killed it. I dont like to play public and the compettion died with 1st. I mean the competition where it was about skills and tactics instead of patience and shotgun.

 

 In 1st everybody needs to peak to see and that would make the war more intense because you cant be hiding like in 3rd. Sure if you play a full war now you will meet a camper behind east box, camper in bunker, camper in cargo, that will show himself at a 1meter distance to suprice you with a shotgun.  So skilled a 1 day player could do it.

couldnt be more wrong. gta2 online is older and has a bigger community, just an example of hundreds. everyone played before rpm, made everyone used to it, max withdrawed, last few players stopped playing. if rpm didnt appeared nothing big would have changed.. maybe things could have changed positive without rpm ever appearing, who knows? pointless discussion obvious logical patterns.

not saying docpunk is responsible for all but he certainly played a big part by stressing fusions and other dumb shit. obviously the #1 responsible is the community, us, by not accepting new players, bad example and atttitude etc.. look at how we treat the last few newbies? They barely visit lately .. thats how demo died.

Even joined noobclans throughout my entire "sof-career".

 

Helped push starelite to another level at one point equal to what c4 was at that time, who would have thought a clan everyone considered the worst of sof could've made it so far. No it wasn't due to cheats, those won wars were usually me, fleim, rocket and foxdie. All of this is irrelevant tho.

 

I still don't think Drfunk has anything to do with the "downfall", in my eyes he contributed a lot to our community, altho he's a massive troll and fuck his ponytail.

Demo only needs egg clans that actively recruit the last scraps of new players. Make it egg clan wars all over demo. When i lead bs i recruited new players all the time, most of wich still play today! New players just need some guidance and experience the experience. We all started in low skilled clans here recruited by some random leader in some random recruit server but we stopped doing that years ago thus a massive decrease in populance.

There was a period where we were winning nearly every war, also agains't c4, of course none of that shit matters because starelite never actually won anything and overall wars between c4 and starelite has to be like a 9/10 win ratio for you. Don't lol me tho fucking steve!
