I totally agree with you max. I just hope that we're not the only ones who think like this.


Perfect, then let's revolutionize the mp_kam2 matches and assume the players agree -- we'll simply remove the scorelimit. I'll probably finalize these features tomorrow so you guys can test it. Let me know which server(s) you'd like to test it on and I'll upload it tomorrow.

please do it, cause i love and loved playing ctf, and rather have more quick matches then 60min rushing to one base ;-)..
+ this makes the clove closer for demoo ppl to move to full / playing more matches on full..

didnt read everything but itll happen to the servers settings, and every ctf play-able map haves it (such as gold maps)

lets test it with some wars baris

This is would very handy for the upcoming cup, hopefully demo clans will really utilize whats being done and play it actively.

hes saying the servers ur using for the cup aint 2k3 servers hence they dont run max's mod so all this stuff wont help u

Remember that 2k3servers sponsored two Elite v1.00 cups? We don't mind doing that. In fact, we have not been approached by any cup organiser to sponsor these new cups. Apparently they prefer i3D to sponsor them for some reason, which I don't mind. But let's try to get back on topic.

CO rules:
no teamlimit
timelimit 10/15/20(depending on players, I might be wrong but I think 10min for 2-3on3s, 15min for 4o4s and 20 for 5o5ns)
friendlyfire on
blue has to score as much points as possible, red points don't count. after 10/15/20 min teams switch and same story over again

* if you are last one in blue alive and suicide on purpose (/kill, nade urself, jump down; getting shot down or suicides assisted by enemys dont count) you lose 1 point from teamscore (-1)
* about timelimit, some matches stop exactly when timelimit hits, but some cups might allow you to finish last round if it started before X:55(i.e 9:55, 14:55 etc), perhaps command to toggle lastround feature would be nice

I've just finalized a beta version which includes the CTF competition mode, if you'd like to test it please post your server IP and I'll upload it.

CO rules:
no teamlimit

suicide thing is better left untouched when it comes to mod - let players/admins deal with that issue if such thing should happen

So if you leave the killing untouched, you only have to set the scorelimit, timelimit and friendlyfire right? This is easily done with the "!sl", "!tl" and "!ff" commands. Of course I could include a seperate competition mode for it, but is it worth it if you only have to set these 3 variables?

Currently the last round will always end before the time limit is hit, this feature can't be turned off. Thank you for your explanation.

oh ok, in demo its the other way - when timelimit hits, game is over no matter what, so I figured the same would happen in 1.00

True, it's the same way in 1.00, but in later versions of RPM I added this feature.
