Be fair and give me whatever punishment im due

im judging by whats actually on the screen and all that is there is an ak skin you cant just start throwin shit like THAT MOD HAS AB WH SOUNDS w.e without any evidence pointing towards that = youre dumb

Whoever is planning to ban shifty, give me your address so I can take a shit in your mouth.

A solution should be made in the future. I suggest the following: add small (NOT advantage-giving things, like AK-skins) MODs to fairplay. Use fairplay for each cupwar. If a player (or whatever players) isn't using fairplay; don't play the game!

The FP team have discussed the future of FP and we came to the conclusion that FP will cease all support for demo but carry on supporting sof2 full once we get a VPS up & running. Demo can suck our combined dick.

So basicly you're saying that a yellow grenade which can be significantly recognized is not an advantage?
Don't forget AK74 is just 1 of the weapons you use.
You can edit every weaponskin in any paint program.

You guys want to make exceptions because Shifty played with it and it's a pity to see.
I agree Shifty shouldn't deserve this, but it's not about deserving.
Hitler was a great man as well for many germans, of course it's not even comparable to this situation, but the motive is the same.
He still broke many many rules.

If you change the rules like that so you will be only banned for 2 cupwars, people will more likely come to the server without fairplay, risking their position, but taking their chances to win from a player that is more superior.
The rules are actually good now, the bantime must give the intention that you must learn from your mistake.
If you would be in prison for 2 days after a bank robbery you would think "Alright, let's chill in prison".

Shifty even admits he was wrong.
The situation makes it difficult since he is as well admin here and creator of fairplay.
I can understand some people are backing him up, but you have to be honest with yourself and be a man and got balls to say he was just wrong.
And yeah, you're risking it that the creator might get that mad he will stop making use of the program, but that's how life is.
You can't control all things yourself.
And I think Shifty is mature enough to keep fairplay running.

The rules can always be better, I agree on that.
But just finding ways out to let him go is in my eyes cowardly.
I would also doubt the admin crew their uprightness if I would be in this situation and just because I'm moderator they would help me.
They have to be objective at any time.
I got banned for 2 years as well on Clanbase for something I still see as unfair, but not much you can do about it.

And about Juul and Foxdie their discussion:
Once you use a MOD, you already used 1 too many since none are allowed to.
So it's pointless to keep discussing over that.

Anyway I can conclude that it's fucked up.
And I don't only mean Shifty's situation.
People are playing Cup matches without fairplay nowadays if there is an opportunity to play.
Just because they have time to play they forget the requirements for Cup matches.
It's time to start thinking cleverly people.
We all make mistakes of course, but these are crucial mistakes which can be avoided.
I think we need to help eachother as well by saying for example "Fairplay is down guys, I would wait with playing Cup matches if I were you".
