So far people have just been saying stuff like "i huz this solid proof" without giving any references to anything. Nobody's had anything to say about that until just a couple of posts ago.You should link to the article then, not to wikipedia. Wikipedia can contain false info.
But yes, of course, you're right.
I'm not saying any reference is better than no reference at all. Still, in this case (especially), I find comments disregarding wikipedia articles just because they're wikipedia articles a bit silly.
Which is why I bothered to make a comment in this doomed conversation in the first place. I mean if he'd linked to the reference of the reference, would it have been treated the opposite,
just accepting it? Or would it have been opened and would people have noticed that in order to see anything but the synopsis, you have to pay 30 bucks?

some journals/papers are free,
Anyway obviously it's better to quote a scientific paper because it's evaluated by peer review so without a question it's more reliable
but it's less accessible and you would have to do more reading.
BTW
here's a thought let's make a philosophy section so 'beautiful minds' of demobase can meet and exchange thoughts and ideas

The general conclusion we developed as a hard-working unit on demobase about that was: its wikipedia, so its lies

i believe the circle has come to an end. 10 pages of arguing and noone has changed any of their viewpoints and noone's learned anything. Let's create another topic
discussions are not necessarily designed to change someone's mind
there was some interesting topics mentioned so for me personally it will interesting to maybe explore some of the aspects
also if you take in another debate like this, and I think you will since you always take side in discussions like that
maybe stop being so bitter in your posts? Discussions often heat up if they concern matter like this( i guess irl even more, I suspect many of us remember at least one debate when people almost killed each other over stuff like this) so to be so fragile.

There is no 'ctrl' button on fastcolts computer. Fastcolt is always in control.
anyways, even though I'm not a pokerwhore like fastcolt, that's what I do the most also, betting small to check what others do
but in this situation, fastcolt > me, listening to him is like asking a crackjunk how to use crack, u can trust it

Nah, I just responded on Snugg saying wikipedia is not the most trustworthy, while Foxdy yesterday edited the SOF2 page saying he developed it.

tbh, i think they have people that check updated pages, like u can edit whatever, but mostly its removed after a week or so, if its bs.. AFAIK

well he has info, who are you to tell that wikipedia contains false info.
He actually bothered to search something but all you're saying is that wikipedia is false.
therefore no actual talk can be made if some people think that the acquired infromation is false.
thats why i never actually talk along serious topics, because each certain topic has several ways to understand it.
many people just don't agree to view other persons points and then we dont have a proper discussion...
BACK TO THE CIRCLE YO.
no offence people yo.
theres a reason that wikipedia isnt allowed to be used in university because it CAN contain false info and can be edited by ANYONE hes not saying the info is false hes saying that because its on wikipedia it isnt 100% reliable so dont twist his words around cock munch
