Max,
Can you expand the 'range' on team mate's name? I mean, when you aim at your team mate and his name will show up, but you must be very close to see it... what if you wanna know who's the team mate standing on other side of the map? =), it won't show then... So a suggestion IF it's possible: expand the "range"? (If you understand me).
The range is already infinite. The thing is that you have to aim with the exact center of your screen, where the first person crosshair would be.
@charles
was the same thing with the other rpm versions. so DO get this beta. the pure servers should update faster
not enough people look @ this site to update their pure servers quick enough, so i'll wait till the servers are updated to get it tbh.
Why should they put this to their servers since this is BETA , not the final version.
Only get this beta version for testing and for finding bugs. Do not play with it permanently or upload it to your Pure server; this would be utterly stupid.

Hmm, I have to test it a little bit more then... and to aim in the exact center of course

No max... it's fucked up somehow, believe me. You can try it yourself or with me in your test server, talk with me on msn about it.
Just explain it here.
I don't think it can be bugged because it's the same code as the code used for first person mouseover.

The code may be the same or how ever you did this for 3rd but this is exactly how it is, and it's buggy then. Others can confirm this.

- Be able to see all the players who are inside the server when viewing 'Server Info'. Normally if a server has like 24 in-game players you can only see 10-14 on the list...

It has already been explained. The range is too short. Your team mates name will disappear after 5-10 meters away, try it yourself.

Simply not true, it works perfectly the same as in first person. You can test this easily in mp_shop; go to the North side of the roof, put a bot in the blue team (g_speed 1) and aim at him (with the center of your screen).
Suggestion if possible:

Nice suggestion, will look into this.

Max, I see now... if you aim like you have your head "on" your team mates body if you understand, THEN you see his name. But it's not the same as 1st because your AIM in third is pointing many meters above. THAT is true on the other hand. It makes it much harder to see his name because it is not the same.
And because most people objected against a 3rd person crosshair, I've removed the exact aiming and just took the center of the screen like in 1st person.

suggestion:
add a filter to the serverlist to filter by H&S/RD/ND

But why? We can't see our opponents name, so it wouldn't show a name at all if we aim at them. Just team mates.

Just because it was much easier for me to copy the 1st person code. Additionaly the 3rd person tracing didn't seem bugless so it was more convenient to use the 1st person code.

- make adm commands work without /, such as adm & tcmd
- make a command to turn off "Hey Admin"(or even just disable it in match mode?)
- put back the "kill sounds" so you know when you killed someone.. atm it only makes a noise if i make a headshot (80% anyway.. JK RLX)

- change the way it saves admin from ip & name to ip & guid

- The server could access your guid if guid were made a userinfo cvar. However, if players aren't using FP, they could simply change their guid using the hash command or some other hacky way. We could introduce the FP and RPM link if you like (I explained it in some other thread) to solve this problem. This would also allow us to show the guid in the scoreboard (and with "stats" and "players" commands).
- This is easy to implement. Added to suggestions list.
- In my opinion this command isn't needed when you're playing some serious match. I disabled all admin chat in competition mode in an earlier version of the mod, plus the tell command, but the majority of players wanted the commands back. So I put them back.
- The sound "sound/frag.mp3" is played when you kill someone. It's a quiet sound.

I think ross meant that you should make it optional. Like /adm ca 0 or w/e, something that would turn the hey-admin off when its annoying you in scrims.
also I dont hear the ''fragsound'' at all
