Well yeah, the reason for the CTF suggestion is to make a it little more attractive.

When I wrote that CTF thingy some time ago, I had not only kam2, but also Italy, and gold ctf maps such as jor1, air1 etc (I know those demo guys would like to play em). And therefore I looked into optimizing CTF as INF is optimized. And last but not least, Real Dmg. I don't really play this gametype, but w/e... they are kind of big & active.

About the scripting. I put "jumping higher" between (however they may be called) marks on purpose. Because of course it doesn't make you jump higher, but some people can't do the jump/crouch fast enough without binding it on a key. So they say I can "jump higher/better" with this bind. This was just an example to what I wanted to "elaborate" :P --> the scripting of the shooting & volume.

And it seems it is possible since you now also confirm it, but I wonder if it would really be too much focus on tweaking sounds. And I don't know if it can be worked out exactly as I want it to work out. Not even sure if I'll put time in it :P.

About competition mode for CTF: I have to agree with dvz here. Because CTF is kind of dead I didn't make this yet.

A jump bind which you can use is something like this: bind SPACE "+moveup; wait 4; +movedown".

Also it shouldn't be to difficult to create a hack to increase footsteps sound (which works with FP as well). I just tried, it gets kind of messy, but should be possible if you really want it.

dunno if this is where I should post it but in my opinion when we put !cm on there should be one more thing edited - the thing I mean is when someone joins a server his retarded name is placed in the middle of your screen and you can't see a shit for a couple of seconds while you play a war. So would be awesome if their name wouldn't be showed there

So when I start shooting I don't abuse my ears, but I can hear something by just stabbing once when I'm not in battle.

Nice suggestion for competition mode, to remove the text when a new player joins the server.

I kind of like the large amount of text though, although I guess I can remove some of it. Because you'll see Waiting for Players anyway.

On the volume, sure you can make a bind. It's kind of like the cg_fov bind I used (put to 80 on long range mp_kam2 when defending, use 100 at all other times). The volume hack is also hot imo, no way that FP is going to detect that.

Haha yeah, I know what I want, but not how to write scripts ^^. Thanks though let me test if it works properly!

It kinda works. But then there is the speccing when you die :/. This time I hear the mofo's who are still alive very loud since I don't shoot with the ak/shotgun myself :D

It works good when I play myself though especially the shotgun sound is totally gone which is nice, but I can still hear the AK hitting the wall or aftershock (or however you want to call it) if I play by clicking and not by spraying.

Guess I'll just do

/bind MOUSE1 "s_volume 0.016; +attack"
/bind MOUSE2 "+altattack; s_volume (higher)"

What I do worry about is the fact, which is in this script and was in your script? Now I'm running a script (changing the volume) before my bullet leaves the ak/shotgun, doesn't this influence the fact that I shoot as fast as the rest?

Oh and what was the +BUTTON9 in your script for?

Long story. In short: this just makes sure that when I press MOUSE1, I shoot = +attack and my volume goes to very low = s_volume 0.016. So I don't have to hear my damn shotgun & ak or w/e fkn loud.
